Lady Jaye, a popular barbecue restaurant in West Seattle, has expanded its footprint with the opening of Little Jaye Cafe and Bakery, a new bakery in South Park.
The new bakery, called Little Jaye Cafe and Bakery, is located at 309 South Cloverdale Street in the former home of Osprey Bistro, in the Cloverdale Business Park. It opened August 28th, 2023.
Little Jaye Seattle offers a variety of pastries, sandwiches, and coffee drinks. The pastries are made by Lady Jaye's own Charlie Garrison. Garrison's pastries are pure comfort food; think chocolate chip cookies, bread puddings, and rice crispy treats.
"The pastries will be made by our own Chef Charlie who has been doing pastry pop ups at Lady Jaye every Sunday for the last 6 months," co-owner Evan Carter told Taste Message prior to the bakery's opening. "He has been making these pastries in a kitchen made for a BBQ restaurant. We are very excited to give him the proper equipment and time to come up with an even greater selection than he is doing now."
In addition to pastries, Little Jaye Cafe and Bakery serve coffee as well as sandwiches for breakfast and lunch.
The opening is the latest addition to the exciting and growing food scene in South Park. The neighborhood is home to a number of popular restaurants, some of which are newcomers while others have served the neighborhood for years.
With the opening of Little Jaye Cafe and Bakery, South Park now has a bakery that offers both delicious pastries and sandwiches. This is sure to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
